AAR Secures First Airbus Neo Jet Customer

AAR Will Support Hawaiian Airlines For A321neo Parts.

U.S. aftermarket provider AAR has signed its first Airbus neo aircraft agreement by concluding a deal to provide component support for 18 of Hawaiian Airlines’ future A321neo jet fleet.

Under the terms of the flight-hour agreement, AAR will service the narrowbodies from its parts inventory hub in Chicago along with material stock located in Hawaii among other strategic hubs.

The new flight-hour contract extends the cooperation between the parties, which goes back more than 15 years, said AAR’s chief commercial officer Chris Jessup.

Hawaiian, with its main base in Honolulu, is scheduled to begin taking delivery of the A321neo from this year through to 2020.
