Aegean Airlines has signed a contract for two additional A320 aircraft, adding to its existing order placed in September 2007.

The aircraft will be the first in the Greek airline’s fleet to feature the enhanced take-off weight capability of 78 tons, enabling the carrier to expand its route network with longer-range operations.

Aegean flies more than 200 international routes from its eight Greek bases and operates an all-Airbus narrowbody fleet of 36 A320 family aircraft.
