Aeroflot's Public Council opens today. The consultative and advisory body is to help the airline devise policies that reflect diverse opinions from across Russian society. The Council also advises the Russian Government on regulation and developments in the air transport industry. There are 26 board members on the Council, each works voluntarily for the organisation. Chaired by former figure skating coach Tatiana Tarasova, the Council is set to work on pricing and will review plans for budget airline Dobrolet, which should launch next month.
