Air France-KLM Uses Lufthansa Navigation

Air France-KLM has signed a five-year contract with Lufthansa Systems for the use of its navigation charts for the fleets of Air France, KLM and KLM Cityhopper. The electronic charts, Lido/eRouteManual and Lido/iRouteManual, will help the airlines improve take-off and landing procedures, according to Lufthansa Systems. The charts, which are generated directly from the Lido navigation database, use true-to-scale geographic information and important route data and “provide pilots with optimum charting material”, said Eme Tillema, deputy VP air traffic management at KLM.
