Lithuanian airline Air Lituanica is the latest airline to have joined the European Region Airlines Association (ERA).

Launched in 2013, the Vilinus-based Lituanica becomes the 53rd airline to join the industry body.

Gytis Gumuliauskas, CEO of Air Lituanica, said joining ERA would aid the airline’s ambitions of becoming Lithuania’s main national carrier, increasing the number of direct flights to major European destinations and launching more connecting flights to remote areas.
