Airlines have resumed their flights to and from Tel Aviv after European and American aviation authorities lifted their ban on flying to the region.

The ban was put in place on July 22 after a rocket landed one mile from the city’s Ben-Gurion airport.

Both Air France and Lufthansa resumed flights to Ben Gurion on Saturday morning. The airlines had chosen not to fly to Tel Aviv prior to and after the ban was put in place.
