ALAFCO Acquires Four Asia-Based Narrowbodies

Kuwait-based lessor ALAFCO has confirmed the acquisition of four narrowbody aircraft from BOC Aviation.

Kuwait-based lessor ALAFCO has confirmed the acquisition of four narrowbody aircraft from BOC Aviation.

The deal, the first between the parties, includes two A320-200 aircraft on long-term lease to Beijing Capital Airlines and two 737-800 aircraft on long-term lease to Indian carrier Jet Airways.

ALAFCO has stated its desire to grow relationships with both carriers as it looks to acquire more aircraft on lease to airlines in the Asia region.

The firm aims to grow its fleet to more than 100 aircraft by 2020.
