Alaska Inks Order For Five 737s

Alaska Airlines has announced an order with Boeing for five 737-900ERs, valued at $481m at list prices. "Today's announcement supports our goal of growing Alaska Airlines by four to eight per cent a year," said Mark Eliasen, Alaska Air Group's VP of finance and treasurer. The airline already operates the 737-900ER in a two-class configuration with 181 seats, equipped with the Boeing Sky Interior. Alaska now has a total of 35 737-900ER and 37 737MAX aircraft due for delivery.
