American Debuts New Look

American Airlines has unveiled a new logo and exterior for its planes, including its flagship 777-300ER which is set to fly on January 31, 2013. The airline's new livery is part of a broader strategy to create “a more modern travel experience” for customers, which includes taking delivery of some of the 550 new aircraft it has ordered. The new logo and livery were designed to “reflect the passion for progress and the soaring spirit, which is uniquely American”, according to Virasb Vahidi, CCO, American.
