ATS To Work With Volotea On A319 Integration

Aviation Technical Services (ATS) has signed a cooperation with Spanish low-cost carrier (LCC) Volotea Airlines to help integrate several mid-life A319 aircraft into its fleet.

Aviation Technical Services (ATS) has signed a cooperation with Spanish low-cost carrier (LCC) Volotea Airlines to help integrate several mid-life A319 aircraft into its fleet.

Under the terms of the contract, ATS will provide turnkey technical fleet integration services which include programme management, aircraft records review, engineering for cabin interior changes and EASA certification of the new final configuration.

Alex Clerc, deputy chief operations officer at the Barcelona-based carrier, said: “By consolidating technical elements of the integration program with ATS, Volotea can focus on aircraft acquisition, network planning and operations.”
