Batik Air Inks Deal For Four A320s

Indonesian carrier Batik Air has closed a sale and leaseback deal for four A320s with GE Aviation Capital Services (GECAS).

Indonesian carrier Batik Air has closed a sale and leaseback deal for four A320s with GE Aviation Capital Services (GECAS).

Confirming the deal on Thursday (June 25), GECAS said that it has already delivered the first aircraft to the Lion Air subsidiary and expects the remaining three to be delivered before the end of 2015.

Batik Air, a new customer for GECAS, currently operates a fleet of eight A320s and 19 737 aircraft.
