Brunei Airlines Receives First 787

Royal Brunei Airlines, the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Brunei, has taken delivery of its first 787 Dreamliner. The 787 is scheduled to begin flying regionally to Singapore on October 18. A long-haul service to London, via Dubai, is due to begin on December 1. Royal Brunei plans to roll out a Dreamliner-only service when it introduces the 787 on flights to Melbourne, Australia in the 2Q 2014. Boeing yesterday announced that it had delivered 170 commercial aircraft during the 3Q 2013, 112 of which were 737 NGs. On a year to date basis, it had delivered 476 aircraft, 330 of which were 737 NGs.
