Carriers Eye Stake In Croatia Airlines

Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Aegan are reportedly exploring the possibility of acquiring a stake in Croatia Airlines.

Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Aegan are reportedly exploring the possibility of acquiring a stake in Croatia Airlines.

According to local media reports, the International Finance Corporation, which is working to find a partner for Croatia, identified the three carriers as suitable investors in the airline.

Lufthansa, which has a long-standing partnership with the Croatian flag carrier, recently expressed interest in exploring new partnerships.

It is speculated that the three airlines will now enter a second round of negotiations about investing in Croatia, with its owners aiming to complete the privitisation process by mid-2016.
