Cathay Pacific Posts $254m H1 Net Profit

Cathay Pacific has reported a first half net profit of HK$1.9bn ($254m), an increase from the HK$347m ($44.7m) net profit the Hong Kong-based carrier posted a year ago.

The airline’s expenses also reduced by 2.6 per cent to HK$48bn.</p>Cathay Pacific chairman John Slosar described the airline’s financial position as strong and said he said he expects the airline to do well for the remainder of 2015.
