In a statement released on Monday (December 7), Rolls-Royce said its Efficiency Service Solutions programme will analyse the flight data of 189 aircraft operated by the Hong Kong-based carrier and its Dragonair subsidiary through its fuel management tool, VisiumFUEL.

The fuel efficiency service adds to the existing TotalCare agreements Cathay Pacific has in place with the UK engine maker.

Mark Hoey, general manager operations at Cathay Pacific said as a result of the contract, the airline now aims to “further optimise” its operations.
