Chorus Aviation To Buy Out Voyageur Airways

Chorus Aviation is to acquire the parent company of Canadian air charter and maintenance provider Voyageur Airways for around C$80m ($62.8m).

Chorus Aviation is to acquire the parent company of Canadian air charter and maintenance provider Voyageur Airways for around C$80m ($62.8m).

Nova Scotia-based Chorus, parent company of Jazz Aviation, said Voyageur may perform modifications on its aircraft in future to maximise fleet value.

Voyageur, headquartered in North Bay, Ontario, operates a fleet of 18 aircraft, made up of Bombardier Dash 8s and CRJ200s.

Its MRO facilities are FAA and EASA Part-145 certified and offer heavy maintenance and modification services on Bombardier regional aircraft.
