Chorus Buys 13 Bombardier Q400

Chorus Aviation, the parent company of charter operator Jazz Aviation, has placed a firm order for 13 Q400 aircraft in a deal worth $424m at current list prices

Chorus Aviation, the parent company of charter operator Jazz Aviation, has placed a firm order for 13 Q400 aircraft in a deal worth $424m at current list prices.

The aircraft will fly under the Air Canada Express banner and the majority will be delivered before the end of 2016 replacing Dash 8 and CRJ200 aircraft.

Nova Scotia-headquartered Chorus has also taken an option on a further 10 Q400s. The capacity purchase agreement was completed after approval from Jazz Aviation pilots.
