Czech Airlines To Acquire Seven A320neo Aircraft

Flag carrier Czech Airlines has signed an agreement with Airbus to buy seven A320neo aircraft to replace seven of its A319 fleet upon expiry of their operating lease.

Flag carrier Czech Airlines has signed an agreement with Airbus to buy seven A320neo aircraft to replace seven of its A319 fleet upon expiry of their operating lease.

Announced on Tuesday (March 29), the transaction is part of the airline’s fleet modernisation programme and the A320neos will begin operating from around 2021.

Jozef Sinčák, chairman of the Czech Airlines board of directors, said: “The new agreement with Airbus replaces the original one in all articles and at the same time settles all original commitments of Czech Airlines towards Airbus.”
