Delta’s HR Chief To Retire

US carrier Delta is to reshuffle its senior HR team following the retirement of Mike Campbell, its executive vice-president – HR and labour relations, on October 1

US carrier Delta has confirmed that Mike Campbell, its executive vice-president – HR and labour relations, will retire on October 1, 2014.

Campbell joined the company in 2006 and will continue to consult on HR matters for the airline.

His departure will see a number of changes in the HR leadership at Delta, with Joanne Smith promoted to executive VP and chief human resources officer from her roles as SVP – in-flight service.

Meanwhile, Allison Ausband, who currently serves as VP of reservation sales, will take over Smith’s previous role and will, in turn, be replaced by Charisse Evans.

Lastly, Mary Loeffelholz is promoted to VP of ACS international operations.
