Low-cost carrier easyJet has forecast its full-year profit, due for release in September, will be between £620m ($968m) to £660m ($1bn), rising from last year’s £581m ($907m).

In its latest results for Q3 2015, easyJet said its revenues fell by one per cent to £1.2bn ($1.8bn), although capacity grew by 4.7 per cent to 20.8m seats.

EasyJet attributed the revenue fall to April’s French air traffic control strikes and a fire at one of its bases in Italy, with both incidents leading to a combined 1,364 cancelled flights.
