Etihad Takes Delivery Of A321

Etihad Airways has signed a long-term lease agreement with Air Lease Corp (ALC) for one A321-200 with Sharklets. The airline plans to use the aircraft on short- to medium-haul routes to the Middle East and India from April 2015, when the aircraft is due to be delivered. Kevin Knight, chief strategy and planning officer at Etihad Airways, said: “Our expansion plans are well on track, and with this 10th A321 we will be able to provide additional depth and capacity to our existing network.”
