EVA Airways Places 26 Aircraft Order With Boeing

Taiwanese carrier EVA Airways has confirmed it intends to order 24 787-10 and two 777-300ER aircraft from Boeing in a deal worth around $8bn at current list prices.

Taiwanese carrier EVA Airways has confirmed it intends to order 24 787-10 and two 777-300ER aircraft from Boeing in a deal worth around $8bn at current list prices.

In a statement released on Thursday (October 15), Boeing confirmed EVA Airways’ intentions to buy the aircraft but stated the deal was not a firm order.

EVA Airways, which will be among the first airlines to operate the latest version of the 787, currently operates a fleet of 37 Boeing aircraft including 21 777-300ERs.
