Falko Adds Five Embraer’s To Portfolio

Asset management firm Falko Regional Aircraft has confirmed it has added the first of five Embraer aircraft to its portfolio.

Asset management firm Falko Regional Aircraft has confirmed it has added the first of five Embraer aircraft to its portfolio.

The aircraft, a combination of ERJ145 and E170s manufactured between 2001 and 2005, are being acquired from SMBC Aviation Capital and are currently on lease to a number of operators in Europe and the Middle East.

Falko said it expects to complete the purchase of all the aircraft by the end of August. Mark Hughes, executive vice-president of corporate finance at Falko, said the deal will add three new lessees to its customer base which will also expand into the Middle East region for the first time.
