Ailing carrier Finnair has sold its retail outlets at Helsinki Airport to World Duty Free Group as a part of its restructuring.

Ailing carrier Finnair has sold its retail outlets at Helsinki Airport to World Duty Free Group as a part of its restructuring.

Finnair says the deal will add €13m ($16.4m) to its 2014 results, before tax, and enables the carrier to focus on its core business.

The carrier hasn’t turned a profit since 2007 and is undergoing a major restructure in a bid to turn its fortunes around.

Last month, Finnair came to an agreement with the Finnish Air Line Pilots’ Association on reducing wages which will save the airline €11m ($14m) over the next two years.
