Finnair has announced two memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the sale and leaseback of Airbus aircraft.
The first is with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) on the sale and leaseback of two A350s, which will become the sixth and seventh of the type to enter Finnair's fleet.
The lease period is confirmed as 12 years with extension options and is worth €265m ($284m) at current exchange rates.
The aircraft are scheduled to enter Helsinki-based Finnair’s fleet between July 2016 and February 2017.
Finnair also confirmed it has signed a MoU with BOC Aviation to lease four new A321-200 aircraft.
The A321s are scheduled for delivery to Finnair during the first half of 2017 and have lease agreements with a minimum term of eight years.
