Qatar Airways has confirmed that the first delivery of Airbus’ all-new widebody has been postponed.
In a statement last week the OEM had said the carrier would receive the first A350 off the production line this weekend (December 13).
However, yesterday (December 10) Qatar Airways confirmed via Facebook that the ceremonial transfer of title had been delayed “until further notice".
No reason for the postponement was given with the carrier confirming that it remained “committed to introducing the A350 very soon".
In June Qatar refused to take delivery of three new A380s following concerns over the quality of the interior finishing, resulting in a three-month delay.
