GECAS To Lease 10 A321neos To Virgin America

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has signed an agreement with Virgin America to lease 10 new A321neo aircraft to the airline.

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has signed an agreement with Virgin America to lease 10 new A321neo aircraft to the airline.

The 10 aircraft are part of GECAS’ existing orderbook with Airbus and the first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2017 with the remainder set for delivery later that year and into 2018.

Virgin America president and CEO David Cush said: “Not only will these aircraft allow us to further reduce our unit costs and improve our revenue position, they demonstrate our continued commitment to reducing carbon emissions and creating an even more sustainable airline.”
