GECAS To Lease Six 737s To Malindo Air

Malaysian low-cost carrier (LCC) Malindo Air has signed a sale and leaseback agreement with lessor GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) for six 737-800 aircraft.

Malaysian low-cost carrier (LCC) Malindo Air has signed a sale and leaseback agreement with lessor GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) for six 737-800 aircraft.

In a statement released on Wednesday (September 30), Shannon-headquartered GECAS said four of the aircraft have already been delivered to Malindo Air and the remaining two are expected to enter its fleet later this month.

Malindo Air currently operates a fleet of 24 aircraft consisting of 737s and ATR 72-600 and travels to more than 30 destinations.
