Indian carrier GoAir has extended its component support contract with Lufthansa Technik, covering its fleet of A320 classic and A320neo aircraft.
Under the terms of the Total Component Support agreement, most of the spare parts required for regular maintenance on 19 A320s along with the new neo fleet are covered up until 2026.
Parts will be provided by Lufthansa Technik Services India, the German MRO’s subsidiary which provides components to GoAir’s bases in Mumbai and Delhi.
In addition, the carrier will have Lufthansa Technik's Technical Operations WebSuite manage/m solution, allowing both parties to observe just-in-time inventory management.
GoAir currently has 144 of Airbus’ new aircraft option on order, with the first two of the aircraft entering into service in the summer.
