Hawaiian Airlines has ordered an additional A330-200 from Los Angeles-based lessor Aircraft Lease Corporation (ALC).

The aircraft, from ALC’s order book with Airbus, will be delivered in Q2 2016. John Plueger, ALC’s president and chief operating officer, said the aircraft will help support Hawaiian’s expanding route network and long haul flights.

The airline, headquartered in Honolulu, currently operates 21 A330s in its fleet.
