International Airlines Group (IAG) is to add up to 220 new A320 aircraft as part of its fleet renewal and expansion plan. The company has firm orders and options for up to 220 A320s, up to 120 of which are for Spanish subsidiary Vueling. Of these there are firm orders for 30 current-generation A320s and 32 A320neos, plus 58 options. The aircraft will be delivered between 2015 and 2020. IAG has also secured options for 100 A320neos, which it says could be used British Airways, Iberia or Vueling.
