VivaAerobus, with hubs in Mexico City, Cancun, Guadalajara and Monterrey, Mexico, was established in November 2006 with one owned Boeing 737-300. Five years later, in November 2011, VivaAerobus leased 12 and owned five 737-300s. The low-cost airline currently leases 18 and owns one Airbus A320-200s and leases and owns one A320neo.
