Lessor Intrepid Aviation is offering investors a total of $120m in unsecured notes.

In a statement, Connecticut-headquartered Intrepid said the notes, which will mature in 2017, will be co-issued by its subsidiary, Intrepid Finance.

The lessor, which has a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft, said it intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including the acquisition of aircraft.
