JAL, S7 Agree Codeshare

Oneworld alliance members Japan Airlines (JAL) and S7 Airlines have entered a codeshare agreement with each other for the first time, commencing on January 30, 2013. JAL, which already operates a nonstop service three times a week between Tokyo (Narita) and Moscow (Domodedovo), is adding two Russian cities, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok, to its network. The new codeshare arrangement will see its “JL” flight marker placed on direct flights operated by S7 between Tokyo (Narita) and the two cities. S7 will also begin marketing several JAL-operated flights between Narita and a range of domestic points in Japan from February 15, 2013.
