Orders 27 737s

UK-based low-cost carrier has finalised an order with Boeing for 27 737-800 aircraft valued at $2.6bn at current list prices., which currently operates an all-Boeing fleet of 58 737 aircraft, said the order is the first one directly placed with the OEM.

Philip Meeson, chairman, said: “The order for 27 additional 737-800s will be delivered over the next two years and will provide with the necessary cost effective, reliable and comfortable environment to allow us to build upon our already highly successful family friendly business.”
