Jetstar Asia has agreed a 10-year contract to use FLYdocs’ data and records management software.
Once implemented, the FLYdocs platform will target cost savings for Singapore-based Jetstar Asia in areas such as records review, auditing and processing of aircraft documentation.
FLYdocs confirmed a team of specialists are currently at the low-cost carrier’s (LCC) Singapore headquarters scanning archived paper records for its fleet of 18 A320-200 aircraft.
The migration of the data is due to be completed later this month with the system scheduled to go live shortly after. Jetstar Asia’s Qantas Group parent company originally signed up for FLYdocs last year.
Adrian Ryan, CEO of UK-headquartered FLYdocs, said the software solution is especially suitable for a LCC’s like Jetstar Asia for driving efficiencies across the business.
