JP Lease Takes Two 777s From AerCap

Japanese firm JP Lease Products & Services has completed its acquisition of two 777-200ER aircraft from AerCap.

Japanese firm JP Lease Products & Services has completed its acquisition of two 777-200ER aircraft from AerCap.

Amsterdam-based Arena Aviation Capital, which will oversee management of the aircraft currently on lease to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, said it arranged and structured the deal with debt financing provided by Deutsche Bank.

Following the transaction, JP Lease confirmed further aircraft acquisitions are in the pipeline.

Patrick den Elzen, managing director of aircraft management company Arena, said the acquisition is a milestone as it marks its entry into the Japanese operating lease market.
