Boeing has confirmed that Kuwait Airways plans to order 10 777-300ERs worth $3.3bn at current list prices.

Boeing has confirmed that Kuwait Airways plans to order 10 777-300ERs worth $3.3bn at current list prices.

The 777-300ER, which seats up to 386 passengers and has a range of 7,825nm (14,490 km), will be delivered from November 2016.

Rasha al-Roumi, Kuwait Airways chairwoman and managing director, confirmed that the flag carrier will use the additions to its fleet to launch new routes, though refrained from revealing details.

In February 2013, Kuwait Airways agreed to purchase 25 new aircraft including A320neos and A350s.
