LOT Chooses ARINC’s ‘GLOBALink’ For Its 787s

LOT Polish Airlines has selected ARINC’s ‘GLOBALink’ aircraft communications addressing and reporting system (ACARS) data link programme to provide timely, accurate information for the airline’s new 787 aircraft. LOT already uses ARINC’s data link services for fast, comprehensive and reliable operational messaging. Under the new agreement, ARINC will integrate the 787 data link programme into ARINC’s data link management system, ‘OpCenter’, allowing seamless operation with LOT’s existing fleet. ‘GLOBALink’ ACARS will enable LOT to operate its aircraft more efficiently, gaining greater visibility into their performance by maintaining critical, automated, real-time messaging between the flight crew and the airline’s maintenance organisation.
