Lufthansa Technik has expanded its presence in Africa by signing a total technical support agreement with RwandAir for its new A330 fleet.
Under the terms of the contract, the German MRO will cover the two aircraft from their date of delivery scheduled for later this month.
It includes maintenance services, engineering support and component supply.
The agreement expands on an existing cooperation between the parties for RwandAir’s fleet of two Bombardier CRJ aircraft, which Lufthansa Technik supplies components for.
The A330s are the first widebody aircraft in RwandAir’s fleet, with the carrier placing its order for them in March 2015.
