MAEL Gets A380 MRO Approval

Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has been granted EASA and GCAA Part 145 approvals to carry out line maintenance work on the A380 aircraft.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has been granted EASA and GCAA Part 145 approvals to carry out line maintenance work on the A380 aircraft.

Following the approval, UK-based MAEL will offer the services for the widebody from its Birmingham Airport facility.

Derek Gibson, commercial director at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, said: “Adding the Airbus A380 aircraft to our Part 145 certificate gives us a wider scope of airframe capabilities.

The investment made provides further evidence of our commitment to expand and support customers operating the next generation of aircraft.”
