Mesa currently operates 57 CRJ900 aircraft, making it one of the world’s largest operators of the Bombardier regional jet.

The new order, which is worth $326m at list prices, was agreed at the ISTAT Americas event this week, which was held in Phoenix where Mesa is headquartered.

Jonathan Ornstein, CEO of Mesa Airlines, said: “The CRJ aircraft will continue to be an essential part of Mesa’s growth strategy as we increase flight frequencies, expand partnership agreements and open new routes across North America."
