Mihin Lanka, a low-fare leisure airline based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, has formed long-term lease agreements with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for the delivery of two new 737-800 aircraft. The aircraft will come from ALC's existing order book and will be delivered next year. "These two new Boeing 737-800s with winglets will modernise the Mihin Lanka fleet. We are pleased to expand our business relationship with Mihin Lanka and contribute to their fleet renewal strategy," said Kishore Korde, ALC's SVP. Mihin Lanka is owned by the Si Lankan government and operates scheduled flights from Bandaranaike International Airport to India, the Gulf, South East Asia and East Africa.
