US operator Mountain Aviation, which offers private charter flights, has been acquired by an unnamed private investment group.

US operator Mountain Aviation, which offers private charter flights, has been acquired by an unnamed private investment group.

The company aims to grow Mountain Aviation’s turboprop and jet charter operations in the Rocky Mountain region while also growing its customer base and expand its offerings in the oil, gas and government services markets.

Richard Bjelkevig will continue to serve as the company’s president. Meanwhile, Cam Kenyon, previously the EVP of operations at WestJet Airlines, has been appointed as the company’s executive director.
