Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) is to acquire Irish lessor Aldus Aviation, a specialist in Embraer E-Jet operating leases.

Turboprop lessor NAC confirmed the deal today (April 15) to take control of Aldus, which currently manages a fleet of 30 E175s, but released no financial details.

Once the deal is complete, Shannon-headquartered Aldus will begin operating under Denmark-based NAC’s brand and will see its fleet of aircraft stand at 294 with a further 48 managed aircraft and 74 jets on order.

The transaction is the second NAC acquisition of an E-Jet lessor this year, following its acquisition of Jetscape Aviation in March.
