Turboprop lessor Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has confirmed it will acquire Jetscape Aviation as part of plans to expand into regional aircraft leasing.

The deal will see Jetscape’s 28 owned Embraer E-Jets, comprised of 16 E190s, nine E175s, two E195s and one E170, become part of Denmark-headquartered NAC’s portfolio.

In addition, NAC will also take ownership of a further 18 E-Jets under Jetscape’s management along with commitments for 11 of the aircraft type.

NAC chairman Martin Moller said: “Jetscape’s solid reputation in regional jet leasing can only enhance the strong brand which NAC already enjoys in the turboprop sector.”
