A two-day strike from French air traffic control (ATC) staff over working conditions is set to begin on Thursday (July 2).

The strikes, the second this year in France following action in April, could lead to thousands of flight disruptions and cancellations across the country.

On Monday (June 29), the Unsa and CGT unions called off their strike plans, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, after talks with the French government.

However, unions SNCTA and Force Ouvriere still plan on commencing with strike action later this week.
