Almost 90 communities have lost more than 10 per cent of daily departures reveals Take Flight Tomorrow, a coalition working to repair the pilot supply pipeline.

American airports, both large and small, have suffered major cuts in services ranging from 10 per cent to nearly 81 per cent as airlines have been forced to cancel flights.

Take Flight Tomorrow suggest that the cuts are due in part to the growing shortage of pilots, highlighting international airports such as Cleveland, Memphis and Louisville, alongside state capitals and the likes of Tallahassee, Providence and Jackson.
