Los Angeles-based lessor Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has confirmed John Plueger will become its next president and CEO from July 1.
Plueger will replace Steven Udvar-Házy, who will become the firm’s executive chairman of the board.
Plueger steps up from his current role as chief operating officer at ALC, which Udvar-Házy founded in February 2010. Prior to joining ALC, Plueger spent 24 years at International Lease Finance Corporation, where he held numerous senior roles including president, chief operating officer and acting CEO.
Completing the reshuffle is Gregory Willis, who will be promoted to executive vice-president and chief financial officer from the beginning of July.
