Q2 Net Pprofit Down 79% At Republic Airways

Net profit at Republic Airways Holdings, the parent company of US carriers Republic Airways and Shuttle America, fell by 79 per cent in the second quarter of 2015 to $4.3m.

Net profit at Republic Airways Holdings, the parent company of US carriers Republic Airways and Shuttle America, fell by 79 per cent in the second quarter of 2015 to $4.3m.

This Q2 results marked a decline from the $20.1m net profit the airline group posted in same period for last year. Revenues also decreased in Q2, falling 1.6 per cent year-on-year to $337.6m while expenses increased by seven per cent to $299.7m.

Republic Airways also confirmed its financial officer Timothy Dooley will leave the group on September 1.
